Hi Ray, If you have the encoder set to cbr, then the setting on the far right of the slider is 320 kbps. going left from there you have 256, 224, 192, 160, 128, 96, 64, and then I don't use any bitrates lower than that so I don't know.
What I've done is set up the mp3 encoder two times. So, in my encoders list, I have mp3 for cd ripping and mp3 for audiobook ripping. Then I just check the one I want for any given task. It's a bit of a pain to set up, but then really easy to use once it's done.
