Dear listers,

After firing up garage band, I would like to start recording from the internal
mac microphone, just to play with it. I now know that I can hit r to start
recording. When I do this, the metronome ticks away. I can turn that off and
from then on it's gone. But there are several track kinds in garage band.

1. Where do you go with voiceover, to see which tracks are already there, what
type of tracks they are, and whether or not they have data in them?
2. What garage band calls a basic track, is that an instrument track for a soft
instrument, or is a basic track a real sound input like line-in or a mike?
3. What is the master track in garage band for?

Kind regards,
Paul.
