Hi,

There are accessible alternatives for managing your music and other media on 
the Mac such as VLC, but I'm pretty sure that you won't find much that will 
allow for the syncing that iTunes does between Apple devices.  You may be able 
to play purchased iTunes Music with other players but I don't believe that you 
can use other players to play iTunes movie or television content.

I'm not 100% positive of this but pretty sure.
