No, there is no audio feedback, butI have light perception, and I promise that the fn key and f1 and f2 do the job. I think you can also change it in control panel under display or power settings, just like you would on a normal windows machine, but the keys definitely work, and unlike in mac mode, your settings are retained; I turn the screen on my macbook off most of the time, and have to brighten it if a sighted friend or family member is using the mac.
