OK, but the one who compiled everything, wouldn't that be the composer? I
know one could say, no, as they didn't necessarily compose the songs
themselves, but only compiled the album. Exactly. They are the composer of
the album. OK, yeah, I know that's a stretch, we're really playing with
simantics here, but, yeah...

Not necessarily. Say a cd contains music enspired by a movie, or maybe a
soundtrack. In that case, song artists would vary, but the album artist
