Oh, I'm not scared to do it, as I did it a while back with an IPhone 4 I used
to have, but the source I used clames there is no IPad 3 nor mini version out
there.

I don't know if one is out yet but jailbreaking isn't as scary as people
think. It you do it from a credible source everything will be fine.
