Be sure to look at the explanation of the cost of the voices in credits. You buy the credits first and then apply them to buy a specific voice in the infovox ivox voice manager. You didn't specify whether or not you have the infovox ivox voice manager; I would think it would have been installed when you downloaded the demo but I'm not sure. Look in /Applications.
