Hi Mel,

I also have Digit-Eyes, which is $19.99, and is used for both scanning
commercial bar codes and for creating personal audio labels with QR
codes that you print out. If you only want to try out the custom
labelling and reading feature on a limited basis, there is a free lite
version that can be upgraded to to add the main commercial bar code
scanning through in-app purchases, but you probably want the full
version. Here are the URLs at the app store:
• Digit-Eyes Audio Scanner and Labeler  ($19.99)

• Digit-Eyes Lite QR Bar Code Reader and Labeler (free)

Check their web site for tips and usage instructions:

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
