You understand it correctly, Harry. Iona, Notes is good for quickly jotting 
osmething down, but where it really shines is iCloud. Any notes you make on any 
device, be it your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac, will sync to all your other 
devices. Textedit is more powerful than Notes, but it won't sync like that.
