I just tried Youtube, and it does work. As I said, though, I use Mactubes most 
of the time for straight youtube browsing. I guess, then, that it is embedded 
videos that don't work, sorry for the lack of proper testing on my part. So, 
flash is obviously working in some way... As to the "original player' thing, I 
meant it literally: I see a bit of text in the video frame that reads 'use 
original player". When I vo-space, Safari is busy for a few seconds, but 
nothing happens. I've also tried the links to the different quality videos a 
bit further in the frame with the same result. I am running the very latest 
everything on a 2011 Mini and have a resonably fast wifi connection with few to 
no buffering problems, and I'm the only machine pulling significant data on the 
network most of the time. I can't recall anything at all that would have 
contributed to the problem.
