Chris, I can definitely confirm both in IMessage on my Ipad 3rd gen as well
as on my IPhone 4S, I've never quite had it to that! extreme, but I do know
that any time I try flicking outside the text box where you type, Voiceover
severely! loses focus, and you then gotta flick back down, yoddie yodda,
etc. It's downright irritating! Especially if you have quite a lengthy
thread going over a period a time. I definitely wonder what caused this to
happen. The weird thing is, I didn't used to have this problem in I O S 5,
then all a sudden one day it cropped up, and has been an issue ever since,
on all my I O S devices both running 5, and running 6.
Chris.

Subject: Possible bug with iPhone 4 and Messages app on iOS 6, can you
duplicate?
Hello all.
I just had quite a scary incident on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6. Lol!
Have you guys noticed that when you open the Messages app and you are in a
conversation, VoiceOver does not confirm where you are? This happens to me
most of the time. So today I did a one finger flick to the left to make
sure I was on the back button, or at least that's where I thought I was. I
know this as I heard the sound to indicate I was at the beginning or end
of the screen. But guess what? I double tapped, and I ended up calling the
person who I was having the conversation with! Not only that, I completely
lost speech for several seconds! Lol!
It is sorted now, but if you can duplicate, this would be very much
appreciated, then I can send a bug report to Apple.
Thank you very much in advance.
