Can you read other companies' drm books on iBooks? my problem with iBooks is
that I've wanted quite a few books that weren't available from them? Also,
remember that you can read many drm and non-drm books in Adobe Digital Editions
2.0. Its current state isn't optimal since you have such limited navigation,
but you can copy and paste a page at a time using vo-shift-c to copy and it
appears you can actually save the finished product. It would be time-consuming
to do a whole book that way but it can be done. Also, there's the command line
of Calibre and the scripts that are available for calibre and, though I won't
discuss it here, there are other tools for use with calibre that are accessible
to us for converting the books to other formats. This isn't discounting the
need for a better solution on the Mac; it's just inventorying what is available
to us so that we can use these resources until there is something better.

be acceptable to You, Lord,
my rock and my Redeemer.
