Hi,
A couple of suggestions that are far less expensive than Steve's below
smiles.
first, do not write kobo, call them. More often than not they use a
customer service filtering email which may have no idea what to do with that
message. time for a human.
Second, kobo may not be the issue, but the book publisher or author if
self published. If it is worth your investment, it is worth it to them
that you tell them of the issue.
Honestly fixing or breaking into the book does not contribute to
people who innocently
prevent access like this from learning.
More often than not, they are more than willing to learn, perhaps
replacing your copy with an unprotected one.
Just some ideas really depending on how much you value the money you spent
and the information in that book.

I wonder if Docuscan Plus could deal with this. Yes, that program costs $299
US but might be worth the money to crack this crap.
Oh, did I tell you? I hate DRM!

Hi all
I recently bought a book from Kobo which I thought was in epub but is actually
a drm protected pdf. I don't know how I can read this either on my iPhone or
mac. I've written to Kobo but they have not replied.
What are people using to read protected PDF files? Bookle won't read them is
that right?
I'd like to read my book now that I've purchased it. Thanks for any help.
Cheers
Lisette
