On strictly practical grounds, I would advise you to have a couple of other 
browsers available for times like this.  I had trouble using Angel, which is 
course delivery software like Blackboard, with Safari, and what saved me was 
that I also had Windows installed in Bootcamp.  Unfortunately, one browser 
and/or one operating system is unlikely to meet all of the accessibility needs 
of the blind at this time.
