Hi all,
This may be a question for carbonite, but I thought someone on here might know.
I am almost ready to switch my backup to my mac instead of windows. When I do,
I assume carbonite will back up my apps (in the applications folder). My
question, though, is: will it also back up app data? For instance, if I
restored from a carbonite backup, would my app preferences, bookmarks, and
other app-related data be restored? I'm stil not clear on how apps work on the
mac (actually, I'm still lost as to why apps are stored in a global folder
instead of in the user's home folder) so this may not even be a sensible
question. Thanks for any explanations.
