That' is probably the problem. I've only switch between the Mac and the iPod a few times and I usually made sure I was either logged out of the Mac for the iPod to get it and I thought I usually could connect to the Mac as long as the iPod was at least in screen lock. Maybe I need to turn the iPod completely off if I want to use it with the Mac? I'll need to play with this a bit more to have conclusive results. That's where a nice shortcut to toggle bluetooth on and off would be nice for the iPod; I believve there is an app to do that now. Then I might be able to switch back and forth more easily without having to power anything down.
Of course, I could go out and buy a second Braille display <hahahahaha>.
