1. Open the vo utility and select the speech option, then the voices tab.
2. VO-space on the popup button that says the name of your current voice.
3. Arrow down to customize and hit enter.
4. Now interact with the table of all the different voices. Find the
ones you want and then find the checkbox next to each (I hit tab;
vo-arrowing in the table didn't seem to work for some reason). Once
you check the voices you want, find the default button (I think it's
called ok) and vo-space on it. NOTE: I found that I could only do a
couple voices at a time, or the operation would fail.
5. Software update will pop up to download your voices. Agree to the
license, then wait. After the voices are downloaded, they will install
themselves and software update will go away by itself. You can now
vo-space on that voice popup button, and the voices you just
downloaded will appear. You could also use the vo-cmd-arrow keys to
select a voice, but there is no customize option in that method.
Hope that made sense.
