Hi all, Here's a ramble on scripting Louis. First, we'd basically need a script that finds the currently open file, be it in Text Edit, Safari, Open Office, or anything. We then have to pass Louis the full path, have it translate (maybe popping up a dialog for settings in the process) and have it emboss or output a braille file, whichever the user wants. Now, the problems: 1. The script would have a hard time finding the open file, it seems. I doubt all applications expose that information in the same way, if they do at all, so how would we manage that? 2. We need to know what command line options Louis provides, so we know what parameters we can pass it. The dialog for settings and embossing/saving would have to be done in Apple Script.
