Hello listers, I unfortunately am encountering a problem with we installing
lion on my four-year-old MacBook Pro essentially, is there any good suggestion
of how to install it from another Mac so that I don't make the mistake I've now
made. I found a way to install it from the thumb drive, but for some reason I
wasn't able to get I would not able to get both the username, and a password.
And the correct field, so now that all this isn't done correctly, I'm trying to
salvage this installation. However it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to
do that we are a readily. I am thought that there might be in the possibility
of going into the terminal screen in the recovery area, but I'm trying to wrap
my head around how I would do that? So after all that background, is there
anyway that I could install this operating system from my iMac since the iMac
and the MacBook have been set up very similarly any help would be greatly
appreciated? I am somewhat at loss as to how I've managed to mess this
insulation up. But what's done is done, now I just have to figure out the best
way to go about fixing it. Thank all of you on the list in advance hopefully
this is understandable. As I am dictating this to my phone. Sincerely Laurie's
minds.
