Hi,

The tags don't matter, it looks at the acoustic fingerprint of the song to
match it.

Subject: iTunes Match

Hi all,

I used a program to add mp3 tags to all of my music and it mislabelled some
of the songs; i.e. looking at the names of the songs you might expect to
hear one song, but a different song plays.

My question is whether iTunes Match matches your music based on the tags or
whether it takes a sample of the song to ensure the proper song is matched.

Does anybody know?

Thx,
Jeff
