Hi guys. This is especially directed to anyone who is using BARD. I downloaded a whole bunch of books from BARD, some of them pretty long. I have one of those cartridges; a new one, I might add. After taking off all the files, emptying the trash with the cartridge plugged in, I did the download just fine. I didn't carefully add up how much space I needed. Then I selected all the books. I got this message saying one of the files couldn't be copied because there was not enough space. I checked the folders, and lo, all of them were there. But I should have known something else was wrong because I never got the message saying 100 or more files were being copied to the cartridge. I put the cartridge into the NLS machine, and it would only recognize one book, which I left on there and was not part of this download.
I fixed the problem by deleting all the messed up folders, emptied the trash, and this time copied all but the book it objected to last time. I the book is ok on the computer, and when I finish with the ones I've got on the cartridge now, I'll read it too. Talking about things that I hope get fix in Mountain Kitty, I hope this is one of them.
