hi Matthew,

If you want to turn this off in Night owl, or greatly decrease VO saying how 
many rows are added, turn off real time streaming. You do this in the following 
way:
Go to preferences with command+comma.
then go to the general button, and vo right arrow until you get to a checkbox 
that says enable real time streaming. If you uncheck that, then the home 
timeline or any other timeline will only refresh to the time you set earlier in 
the preferences with the  steppers.
