Yup. Used to be pretty good. Dunno if this is a voiceover issue or an
OpenOffice issue. Since none of my other apps had this kind of
regression when I upgraded to 10.7 I'm assuming this is something to do
with OpenOffice. That said, they keep putting out releases and getting
things working again, but I wouldn't try to accomplish anything with it
yet. At a minimum they need it to echo text as you type, highlight etc.
You can move through text with VO and read it, but not much else.

Thanks chris, that's what I wanted to know. I then therefore won't go ahead and
install the programme. Its a shame though.

Something broke in recent builds with OSX 10.7 such that it is pretty much

where it used to be.

Hi all, its been a while since I've heard about this programme purely through
forgetting about it but its used at my college.
Now I use a word processor called Bean which I'm fine with its just that I'm
curious since I've last thought about Openoffice, in about I'd say three years,
is it more accessible with Voiceover at all? I am using Lion.
I just thought I'd ask to see who uses it if anyone does how do you find it?
What work arounds do you use? etc.
Thanks much
