Open Safari.

Move left along the bookmark bar (provided it's showing, and if not, press
command+shift+b) and look for the place which Voiceover reports as "show all
bookmarks, unchecked checkbox". Check this box.

Now in place of your usual html page, you will have two tables. The first table
you come to is a table of your folders which are categories of bookmarks you
have by default or which you would have created yourself. Interact with the
table to choose the folder where your bookmark is.

Move right beyond the search field and you will come across another table which
lists all the bookmarks in the selected folder. Arrow up and down with vo until
you come to the bookmark you wish to delete. Press delete and the bookmark is
gone. Stop interacting and uncheck the checkbox which reveals your bookmarks.

Hope this helps.
