hi,

That file is the Installer package and thus should not be placed in the 
Applications folder.  You can either run it from the dmg or copy and paste it 
to your Desktop and run it from there.  Once you open it, Adobe is less than 
perfect with respect to accessibility so there are some tricks that you'll need 
to use.  Instead of using VO navigation, use your tab key and the spacebar.  
That is, tab through the dialog and VO will read the button or element that is 
focused, then just press the spacebar to activate the button or checkbox.  Once 
everything has been installed, there will be a Done button that you can press 
and all is good.
