I will do command shift-a again and see if I will land in the applications folder. For some reason I don't think it worked for me, even though it was the right command. I was scrolling around and found pages but wasn't sure of the location lol. The command shift t was the command I couldn't remember, when googling it, the instructions just said to "drag" the item. How do I bring up the contextual menu? Seeing as you told me that items purchased from the appstore in Itunes land in your applications folder, maybe that is where pages was so I will look again later this evening or tomorrow. Thank you. Items downloaded through the App Store are normally placed directly into the Applications folder. When on the Desktop, in the Finder or Open or Save dialogs, cmd-shift-a will take you to the Applications folder. The quickest method to put something onto the Dock is to select the Application, then press cmd-shift-t. You can also get Apps to remain on the Dock if the app is open, finding its item on the Dock, then opening its Contextual menu, going to Options and choosing Keep in Dock. To remove apps, simply locate them in the Finder and then press cmd-delete. This will put the Application package into the Trash. You can choose to Empty the Trash right after if you like by pressing cmd-shift-delete. You can get Spotlight searches by pressing cmd-f or by pressing VO-m-m-m, that is the letter "m" three times. Depending on what you enter into the search criteria, you may end up with quite a few matches to your inquiry but you can scroll through the list of matches then Interact with the Path List to determine the location of the matched item. And I wanted to uninstall chrome so I can start from scratch with my macbook pro but I think I will just keep it. Finally, to go to the applications folder its command shift A right? If it is, that did not do anything for me.
