Hi there. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I put an old Cannon printer on my Mac. If it had been a Windows machine, I would have had to go through all kinds of hoopla to get it on there. All I did was to plug in the USB cable and press command P to see if the printer was on there. I didn't bother to go to the Cannon website because I was lazy and didn't want to mess with a website I hadn't gone to before. I don't know about the rest of you, but sopmetimes I just can't face an unfamiliar website.
I got a nice surprise when I plugged in the USB cable. The printer was on there, and I had to go do nothing after that.
