So the airport will do all the networky stuff, ending with an audio
output in either analog or digital form. If you want two separate
speakers you have to options. One is to get two self-powered speakers
(built-in amplifier) and just run the analog audio from the Airport to
the speakers. The other is to hook the analog or digital out to a
standard home audio receiver/amp and then hook that to a pair of
speakers. How high end you go in either scenario only depends on your
preferences and budget. I'm assuming the digital option would stream
through the full 5.1 surround sound signal but I have no way to verify
this. The analog path would only be stereo.

Thanks, but wide stereo seperation is a must in this case. Definately seperate
speakers.

Hi,
I bought, and am very satisfied with the Libratone Live. It's one unit that
contains two speakers. If really wide stereo spread is your thing, then this
isn't for you, otherwise the system is great. I never thought that a box that
small could pump forth that kind of sound. The Libratone speakers also have a
totally accessible IOs app that lets you control various settings of the
speaker. I think it's well worth a listen.

Hi.
Buy an Airport Express, a Toslink to mini cable and a speaker system with a
digital (optical) input, then enjoy your self.
