Hello Walter.

You need to customise your virtual machine.

What I will do is to tell you what settings I have under each tab such as
general tab, sharing tab and so on. So those of you are not interested in
this subject, please delete.
1.

Under the general tab, I have the name of my virtual machine such as Windows 7
64 as that is what it is. When you do explore these tabs, remember to interact
and stop interacting. I hope you are good with Voice Over.
2.

Now, I will tell you what is under my sharing tab but you don't have to choose
any of these, this is just an idea for you.

Share folders is checked but you don't have to share yours.

There is a table which you interact with.

My permission is read and write.

I have mirror folders and you unchecked what you want a copy of on your virtual
machine such as my desk top is unchecked. Then my movies is checked. Documents
is also checked. In fact everything else is checked such as music, downloads
and so on.

Default Application Tab.

The first checked box is unchecked. In fact everything is unchecked.

Moving on to the next tab. The next tab is the menu application button.

Show application in menu tab is never checked. Again everything in this tab is
unchecked.

We now get to the memory and processor tab. I don't know the technicals but I
can tell you what mine is set to.

Using two processors as I have two for best performance.

My memory is set to 435% My megabytes is set to 3072.

We next get to the display tab.

The first checked box is checked. The rest you do not need to worry about.

Then you have the removable devices which you can explore.

The next is the network adaptor button which you can explore.

Hard disk scussy button. In this tab you want to set the size of your machine.
My size is set to 426% 64.0 gb There is an advanced option in that tab which
you can explore.

There are three more tabs, such as DVD, Sound Card and bluetooth and USB
button. You can explore these yourself but I hope I've given you some ideas of
what to do. Remember, you need to interact with each tab once you chose the
tab.

Best wishes,

Kawal.
