Hi again! Sorry but in those instructions on how to set up keyboard commander there is a option to make the Left option key as the default! So just in case you cannot find those instructions *smile* here goes!
1. open vo utility with vo+f8 and you should be on general scroll across to the [allow voiceover to be controlled by apple scripts] check box and check it on! 2. then just press Command+8 and that will take you to the commanders, then select the keyboard tab! 3 scroll through the options like make left option key the default and change any thing you think you need! There will be a table of preset commands like M for mail and S for safari and of course T for time! This is also where you can set up your own shortcuts [but a little tip] do not be tempted to set one up for Itunes there is a conflict with Itunes library chooser and can get in the way! hth Colin On 27 May 2012, at 00:12, Stacey Robinson wrote: > I don't have a right option key on my macbook. > On May 26, 2012, at 2:53 PM, Red.Falcon wrote: > >> Hi Stacey! >> It is the same command! >> If you can find a message in this thread from me you can get directions to >> set up Keyboard commander to get it working properly! >> Colin >> >> On 26 May 2012, at 20:23, Stacey Robinson wrote: >> >>> What is the shortcut for this on the macbook? >>> On May 26, 2012, at 8:59 AM, Les Kriegler wrote: >>> >>>> Right Option T. >>>> On May 26, 2012, at 9:40 AM, Jesus Garcia wrote: >>>> >>>>> Good morning list members this is probably a silly question considering I >>>>> have been playing with my mac for about a month, but can someone tell me >>>>> if >>>>> there is a time checking shortcut key like insert function key 12 for >>>>> Jaws >>>>> or insert T for window eyes? >>>>> >>>>> -- >>>>> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >>>>> "MacVisionaries" group. >>>>> To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. >>>>> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >>>>> macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >>>>> For more options, visit this group at >>>>> http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. >>>>> >>>> >>>> -- >>>> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >>>> "MacVisionaries" group. >>>> To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. >>>> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >>>> macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >>>> For more options, visit this group at >>>> http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. >>>> >>> >>> >>> -- >>> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >>> "MacVisionaries" group. >>> To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. >>> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >>> macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >>> For more options, visit this group at >>> http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. >>> >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >> "MacVisionaries" group. >> To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. >> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >> macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >> For more options, visit this group at >> http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. >> > > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MacVisionaries" group. > To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
