ok, I see where the problem is. WoW is coded a little differently for the OS X execution environment. the entire interface is graphicl. the only things that are text are in the chatlogs (and you have to get voiceover to background to that). the only problem with the chat logs is they are very noisy. I used to play and was experimenting with voiceover and found out the chat logs were made up of not only the text from other users, but the data that a lot of apps send back and forth. the other problem is that voiceover will not background to a modified chatlog while WOW is running (as WoW takes primary focus).
there are other problems for us totals when it comes to playing in WoW. one is the fact that we literally can't see where we are going (we could run into rocks, walls, pits, cliffs, trees, and all manner of creatures. the second major problem is that you are still dependent on others for your play time. no partner to pair up with means no play. believe me, I have tried even after going total and having a family member help out. the results under OS X were dismal. the only way I can see this working is that WoW would have to recode their interface that works under Cocoa (the display environment for OS X). -eric On Apr 23, 2012, at 7:37 AM, Jamie Tachiyama wrote: > Thanks Michael for the update.
