Hello Veronica,

If you are not interacting with the messages table and just navigating up and 
down with the arrow keys, VO should announce unread, reply was sent, message 
was forwarded, and so on, but not "Read". However, if you interact with the 
messages table, the status column will say "Blank" if the message has been read.
