Hi guys. In my ongoing research of technology needed later in my business, I came across an idea that never occurred to me before until my husband started putting large files into Notes on his iPhone. I just tried doing one of my reports in Notes to see how it would come out, and it came out wonderfully. Of course, those files would go back and forth between my Mac and my future iPad I don't yet have. (I can't use my iPhone for this purpose in most cases because I need it to talk on at the same time, and I think putting notes on the iPhone at the time I'm talking would be irritating, especially since I'd be doing it all the time.)
Here's my question. Does anybody know how big a file you can put into Notes? Folks on this list have also convinced me, although they didn't know it, to get a smaller display than a 40 cell for my next braille display. I've actually lucky enough to have two 40 cell displays, one of which was given to me. I bought the other one used. Several of you have said you like the Refresh-a-braille 18. I'm thinking that having a smaller one available, since I only need one 40 cell display, would give me flexibility for travel. Thanks guys because you may have very well have saved me, without knowing it, from spending about $1200 more than I needed to.
