Ed, on your iphone double click the home button to bring up the app switcher, then 3 finger swipe to the right untill you are on the first page, then scroll down untill it says airplay , select it, scroll down to where it says apple tv and select it , once selected below where it says apple tv there will be a button called airplay mirroring , select it and your good to go. let me know if this doesn't make sence.
