I hate to tell you this, but for now, you can't edit those exciting IRS forms on the Mac unless you put windows in it. I just went through this. The IRS has two versions of the PDF files on their web site. One is for the sighted which is downloaded on the forms section. The ther is under accessibility done the Alternative Media Center. If you're Windows with either Jaws or WindowEyes, you're in, if they have the form converted, that is. With forms have been tested with Jaws and WindowEyes, and when withy don't make mistakes on them, they work great with those programs. I say that because they made a ájor mistake on the form 4562, and there is slight mistake this year o the 1040 accessible form. The fields are listed backwards for line 20 for inputting social security benefits.
I have told my husband we're not going through this next year, and I'm going to elect to do mine on electronic filing I can put in information on the Internet using Safari.
