the upgrade is very simple in deed. it's a simple case of removing a set of case screws located under the macbook pro. the lid underneeth simply lifts off revealing the HD drive, logic board and ram, etc.
the ram is held in place by 2 retention clips per stick, so simply touch the two retention clips and gently spread them so that the sticks pop up then remove them. remove the new memory from the packaging and then install. re install the lid with the screws and then reboot the laptop. please note the following... unplug the laptop from the mains and other conections you may have like ethernet cables, USB, etc and ensure your laptop is TURNED OFF. lew On 7 Mar 2012, at 07:02, Ricardo Walker wrote: > Hello list, > > I have a stock mid 2010 Macbook Pro.
