Just after christmas one of my clients upgraded to lion and when the new bootcamp installed it de-activated his windows partition. We had to get a new key from microsoft, and even though I don't charge high rates, he could have bought a new copy of windows 7 and had money left over for a case of beer on what I charged him for the runaround in the hell of microsoft tech support. Of course, then he would have called me back to install the new windows but still. It's disgraceful. ...The waste.
