Hi Christine,
What I found for the tassimo site is that when you add an item to your cart,
there is a "Just added to your cart" window that comes up that only contains
details about the item you just added. It doesn't show up as a second window
if you check with window chooser menu (VO-F2). So if there are other items in
your cart that you are trying to remove, you won't be able to view them until
you use one of the buttons associated with that window to exit it. The only
clue that this window is up is that VoiceOver says "Close" just after
announcing "Just added to your cart" once you press the button to add an item
to your cart. This is why I used item chooser menu to try to navigate to other
elements in that window -- specifically, to try to at least close it. Typing
"just" after using VO-I lists items which include "Just added to your cart".
Continuing by typing "but" after that refines that list to give you the items
that are buttons for the "Just added to the cart" window.

If you want to get to the full cart, you need to navigate to the "Just added to
your cart, checkout button" and press it (VO-Space). Can you find a button
like that on your screen? Until you press that button you will not be able to
view or modify any items in your shopping cart apart from the item you just
added to your cart. Pressing that button should take you to the screen with
the full shopping cart contents. You should be able to navigate the table and
check boxes to remove items that you don't want. The total may update
correctly if you simply remove items. However, if you change the quantity of
items in the table for the full shopping cart, you won't be able to get them to
update unless you press the unlabeled button for updating the shopping cart.
It will be on the row of the table after your last shopping cart item, and
VoiceOver will says something about "spans 5 columns button column 1" after
announcing the row.

HTH. By the way, I didn't check by changing my settings, but I'm using DOM
mode and have set all my cursors tracking, and have mouse moves VoiceOver
cursor under the navigation options of VoiceOver utility. This isn't my usual
set up -- especially the mouse moves VO cursor. I just got through checking
the "Find My iPhone" page under Safari 5.1.2 so was trying different settings
to improve the navigation experience.

Cheers,

Esther
