Thanks. I wasn't sure which sidebar you were talking about, but I know of that one in finder. But don't I have to do something to get the airport extreme to see the hard drive? When looking in the shared area in the sidebar, I don't see the drive; but there is nothing currently on it. Of course, it has no label either. Do I need to update and restart the router now that the drive is connected?
