everyone, especially a business should buy a PERMANENT domain name. the servicer of that name will provide email service. if you have a problem with the servicer, you simply find another email servicer and have the mail forwarded to them. while you are going through the pain of opening the new email account, your messages are still available by going to the site of the domain name servicer and accessing them directly. the cost of holding the domain name is about $10 a year and you can also register similar names to prevent others from trying to steal your customers.

I've just tried for the um-teenth time, to set up my gmail acount on my macbook pro, and it's now wanted to tell me, "no mailbox selected," whenever I open it. I'm only going to guess it's connected, sense the option to take acounts on line is dimmed, so I don't understand why it would be telling me this, however it refuses to download my mail no matter how many times I've removed and re-set up the sount, and this is really getting on my last nerve. I really don't want to switch providers, because everyone I know knows this address, and has for years, and sense I've had several providers that I've been dissatisfied with and have no reason to change aside from the mac doesn't completely seem to get along with it, than I don't see any other reason to leave them. If there's some sort of a work-around, or if there could've been something I may have missed, could someone please share that?
