They are pkg files, at least I believe they are. So I have to copy files, not install? I am trying to not get frustrated even more with the mac, but why package things up in a compressed format which uncompresses (though getting it to do so is a guessing game) to some files, then offer a pkg file inside that that, apparently, doesn't work at all? I think I'm missing a lot about mac os...
