Hmmm, now that is a rather interesting idea. Blowing everything away sounds like it would take a little work since I'm sure there is stuff scatter in a few places. :) ALthough a fine idea to get things sorted. WGM is certainly working a bit better for me. Btw, the WGM REmote app you referred to. I see it is for 10.5 and 10.6, but does not mention 10.7, so does it work well for 10.7?
