I think this is crazy talk. Just my opinion. And this comes from one who rarely uses, and don't particularly like facebook. Your just as open to spam, etc using e-mail. Facebook empowers more than it is a weapon of oppression and torture. I mean really? Torture? Thats a bit dramatic don't you think? I hardly see how a social network where 800 million people use it freely oppresses.
