Hello,

To remove an item from the dock:
1. go to the dock with VO D
2. use the left and  right arrow keys to move to the item you want to remove
3. press VO Shift M for the context menu
4. select "Options", "remove from dock"

To move an item on the dock: 
1. go to the dock with VO D
2. use the left and  right arrow keys to move to the item you want to remove
3. press Option Command left or right arrow keys to move to the left or right
