excuse me? since when were the words HACK? used nor the question of questionable apps?
this was not brought into question. I happen to have worked with logic pro since V8 and the only method of making logic work from a tape only situation was using a digital production console as a master interface. my copy was genuine and purchased through my local Pro Audio agent.
