Hi, If you create them on the iPhone, and you have an iCloud account, then they are automatically put into your iCloud space. If you create the file on your Mac, you can get them on your phone in a couple of ways, either via the Apps pane in iTunes when your iPhone is connected to your computer or over the air via the Mobile Documents folder that resides in the Library folder of your Home directory. Once the document has been opened by the iPhone though, it can no longer be opened by your Mac unless you save it back to the Mac using the Apps pane in iTunes when it is connected to your Mac. The over the air part of iCloud seems to only be useful between iDevices or between Macs themselves.
