the case in question would not be supported by this. it only applies to
itunes only playback and not system wide or voiceover specific sound
adjustments.

 

there are two ways to deal with this. one is a hardware mixer with EQ to the
speakers. the other is an application available through the app store... I
think so anyway... can't remember the name but if I come across it I'll let
you know. it allows fine tuning of your sound outputs including EQ and
natural acoustic behaviour.
