Hello list:
I've never had to use this since I got my mac. In fact, I've never had to share
an Internet connection in the past 10 years or so from a computer.

I know this should be quite simple. I go into Preferences, select sharing, and
navigate through the table of sharing items until I see Internet sharing. I
find this but the check box to turn it on is dimmed.
What I want to do is share a 3g USB modem and use WiFi to connect my two
iPhones. Anyone know why the check box for Internet sharing would be dimmed? Is
something done in the software that is installed on your system for these USB
modems to disable Internet sharing?

Thanks in advance,

Doug
