Hi, I just used Sparks to solve an issue which has been bothering me now for a little while.
Download Spark for Mac - Hotkey shortcuts manager. MacUpdate.com Just wondered what others of y'all thought of it. You may recall that, back a week or two ago, I was fussing with the Word Count script and what stopped me was I couldn't set up a hot key in Text Edit Because of the fact that the option key was taken up with every other key on the keyboard for some special symble or other. However, with the use of Sparks, I was able to set Option+Command+w and now, hey, no trouble at all. Thanks to all who helped in this matter, encluding Estar who suggested the possibility of a permitions issue; whichth turned out to be accurate. thanks also to collen who suggested Sparks as a method for solving the hot key delima.
