First, the way to get the markers to drop exactly where you want them in 
Amadeus Pro is to.

1.  Pause playback.

2.  rout the insertion point to the play head by pressing command+y.

3.  You can now use the letter p to cause a marker to set exactly in that spot..

Next, you want to save the file as a .m4a file.  Then, rename it's extention as 
a .4mr file.  I dialog will ask you if you're sure you want to do this.  Say 
yes and save.  I believe that Amadeus Pro has a built in fasility for 
converting any file 30 seconds or shorter in to an Iphone ring tone; but I have 
yet to try that.
